Intel i7-7700K De-lidding

As many of you probably know, the Kaby Lake line of CPUs (7700k in this case) have issues of running a little warm. This is a known issue for Intel, but if you read the countless pages of forums on this subject, the response from themis basically “eat sh*t and die”. Or they tell you to stop overclocking… What’s the point of purchasing an unlocked CPU if the manufacturer tells you not to use it for that purpose?! So, if you’re sick of random temp spikes when opening a browser, running hot, and the case fan ramp ups that go along with it all, take it upon yourself and try de-lidding!

Liquid Cooled Mini-ITX AMD Ryzen Build – pt. 1

You may be wondering how I can be doing a mini-ITX Ryzen build when there hasn’t been a mini-ITX board released yet for the AM4 platform. I’m not, at least not yet…

This piece will focus on the BitFenix Prodigy case I’ve modified in preparation of the actual build with an overkill water cooling system. This is also my first case mod and custom loop water cooling setup, and because that wasn’t difficult enough I decided to do it in a m-ITX case.
